Project Acquisition
In January 2025 the CRA purchased the retail condo at 1175 Cambridge St. in Inman Sq. to serve as the first space in its Neighborhood Storefronts Project.

Neighborhood Storefronts Project Community Event
The CRA hosted a community event where we heard what Community Oriented Retail means to you, what make Cambridge Street special, and what businesses you'd like to see in the Neighborhood Storefronts Project.
June 28 & 29, 2025
Neighborhood Storefronts Retail Pop-Up
We held a pop up shopping event showcasing local vendors. We collected design ideas from community members.
July 2025
Project Team Selected
In July, the CRA selected Everstreet to serve as its Retail Strategy Partner and Neighborhood Architects to lead architecture and design efforts, kicking off the next phase of the project.
